A multicultural, interdisciplinary artist exploring the coalescence of Art, Science, Spirituality and Heritage. My habitual practice abstracts scientific ideologies to conduct art-making intimately; in strategic phases reminiscent of archival and taxonomic, laboratory experimentation. Investigative phases recollect my diasporic and fragmented lineage; through the dissection, modification and preservation of sequestered memorabilia, found within my ancestral home. By engaging sculptural rehabilitations of cultural specimens, I aim to personify selfhood within adiscourse amongst deceased ancestors. I question transgenerational epigenetics and hauntological ontology by anthropomorphizing lost and forgotten histories. Derived from my ghostly kinships, loss is met with regenerative cultural autonomy.
